Making the Transition

A defining factor in the successful transition from default-mode living to a self-led lifestyle is accountability. The decision to gently hold our Self accountable is the choice between a concept and a reality, between a time-consuming detour and an instantaneous result, between a mediocre life and a miraculous one.💚  (Pic: Shane Rounce) #selfleadership #accountability #Shanerounce #thetransition

Moving Toward

In the face of uncertainty, self leadership can be an energetic mind game. The mind, left unchecked, reminds us of what we don’t want. It aims to prevent the unwanted from occurring and in so doing, brings it to fruition; There is no such thing as running away from what we don’t want. We either run toward it by allowing it to hijack our thoughts and therefore our focus. Or, we move toward what we do want by ensuring that is our focus. 💚Pic: (Paul Skorupskas) #selfleadership, #runningawayisrunningtoward, #PaulSkorupskas

On the Rise

As A New Earth emerges, Eckhart Tolle comes to mind. What did he share with us before our health, families, freedoms and unification were highlighted in this way? He wrote: “The foundation of a new earth is a new heaven – the awakened consciousness.” Adding that, “Nothing is going to make us free because only the present moment can make us free. That realization is the awakening.”💕  (Pic: Elena Mozhvilo) #selfleadership, #EckhartTolle, #ANewEarth, #ElenaMozhvilo

Happy New Year!

If we’re still and listen deeply to our hearts and the hearts around us we’ll shift from simply surviving to thriving in this world. As we head into a new year let’s be a master of our life experience rather than its slave. Let’s listen and go inward in an outward looking world. Let’s make the unconscious, conscious and stop it from directing our lives. Let’s dare to self lead!💜 (photo: Trust “Tru” Katsande) #happynewyear2020  #selfleadership

Darksided Gifts

A negative judgement about somebody that surfaces in thought is our inner guidance system at work pointing directly to that very thing we have not yet embraced about ourselves. Given that our common and ultimate indicators of success are the states of joy and love, it’s essential to know that if love is to flow through us to the people and things we care about, we must first have it for ourselves.💜(Photo: #LanceGrandahl) #selfleadership

Wholesome Harmony

We may think that our dark side is our own dirty little secret but there are 7.7 billion others, even the saintliest among us, who have one too. Rather than rejecting our shadow, a crucial self leadership-step is to embrace it, get to know it, and learn to love and appreciate the guidance and growth it provides. Otherwise we would be attempting to move only part of our whole selves forward. 💜 #selfleadership

Cleanse Our Lens

WAHOO! New science reveals that we’re not just an expression of our genes after all! In truth, our lives are all about our environment and our perception of that environment! With the awareness that our observations are key, all feelings of powerlessness are replaced with a sense of responsibility. Making the choice to purify our perception allows us to live in harmony with our environment and reap the benefits through life experience.💕(Photo: Bud Helisson) #selfleadership

Self Leadership Dialogue

Get your self-leadership-groove on by setting your internal dialogue to the tune of these affirming truths: “I am totally independent of the good or bad opinions of others. I am beneath no one. I’m fearless in the face of any and all challenges.” ~ D. Chopra 💜 (Photo: Sergey Pesterev) #selfleadership

Reminder: Stay the Course

In the face of chaos and confrontation practicing self leaders ask, “Is this for real?” because we know that our ego has a habit of obscuring our soul’s clarity. Even the slightest undercurrent of negativity signifies that fear is clouding our vision. Unpleasant thoughts and feelings are natural human-made distractions. Making the choice to yield solutions by accepting what is while moving in the direction of intent, is self leadership.💜 (Photo: Kalen Emsley) #selfleadership
